Jadayupara the world's biggest bird sculpture is open now to the public. Jatayu para tickets can be booked online through www.jatayuearthscenter.com in advance. They offer two different packages –Earth center and Adventure park. There are some discount for senior citizens (proof required). There is a mini restaurant at the top of the rock.
The information center is near the car parking. Swiss made Cable Car facility available at Jatayu Earth Center and it is fully automated with adequate safety features. Wind speed also will be monitored and the cable car stops if the wind speed is more than 50/hour.
Needakara is one of the biggest harbour at the northern part of Kollam district.
Sasthamkotta lake is the biggest fresh water lake in Kerala where you can enjoy nice boat ride.
Ashtamudi is the second largest lake in Kerala where the tourists can enjoy amazing boating.
Kollam beach is one of the best beach flanked by Arabian sea.
Rosemala is located between Aryankavu Forest Range and Thenmala Wildlife Sanctuary. You may need to trek 12 Kilometer from Aryankavu to reach this picturesque Rosemala hills. The main attraction in Rosemala is the deep forest, watch tower, and the view of lake from the watch tower. The watchtower unveils the beauty of Thenmala Dam reservoir surrounded by gigantic hills. A British planter established a plantation estate in these hills and the name Rosemala is originated from his wife’s name Roslin. Nearest Attraction in Rosemala are Palaruvi waterfall, Aryankavu Hill station, Thenmala Dam, Thenmala Ecotourism, and Shenduruney Wildlife Sanctuary.
